An Evesham Festival of Words fringe event in the Almonry garden, highlighting the love of Shakespeare’s words by a group of teenagers.

Following on from their performance at the RSC, The Festival Players directed by Eric Jones  bring together teens who love acting, for an evening of monologues & excerpts from major works. A perfect way to spend a summer evening – bring along a picnic chair! (In the event of bad weather performances will take place inside the Almonry)


‘We’re All Stories in the End’ Exhibition Launch

Saturday 15 July

Last September West Midlands Museum Development (WMMD) held a workshop with 9 museums and 11 artists resulting in a joint Grants for the Arts bid, funded by Arts Council England (ACE). Storyteller Peter Chand held storytelling workshops with St Andrew’s School Hampton and community groups. They are just about to start working with textile artist Sue Chand who will translate these stories into thread.  Saturday 15th July is a day of storytelling, including performances by participants to launch an exhibition of the art work created.


Evesham Wildlife Week

Join us as we help Worcestershire Wildlife Trust celebrate Evesham Wildlife Week.  Help us to build our own giant bug hotel, plant your own bee friendly plant to take home and find out more about the bugs that can live in museums with our summer trail!!

Big Bug Hunt – July 26th and August 16th

Almonry GardensCalling all intrepid bug explorers! On July 26th and August 16th  Worcestershire Wildlife Trust joins us for an afternoon of bug hunting and creating a bug hotel. Come along and join in the fun and find out what lurks in the Almonry garden!

Don’t forget to visit our partners at St Lawrence’s Church for their Fantastical Creatures event on 26th July for mask making, dressing up, music and more!
