The Museum will be Open from Monday 3rd August

We are open Monday to Saturday 10am until 4pm

We are really pleased to be announcing that the Almonry Museum will be opening its doors on Monday 3rd August.  We have really missed you and can’t wait to welcome you back.  Before you visit please take a few minutes to read our new guidelines.  These are in place to ensure you still have a great visit and stay safe while at the Almonry.

  • We have put in a new one-way system.  To do this we have had to close certain areas of the museum as we can’t ensure social distancing.  Hopefully we can change this as the rules change but until then we are offering 10% off our entry fee! Single use maps of the route are available at the Reception desk along with a free family spotting trail
  • Our toilets will remain CLOSED for now. We can’t ensure social distancing in the toilet lobby and we apologise for any inconvenience.  Our staff are able to direct you to the nearest public toilets
  • Please wear a mask when you enter the shop and Tourist Information Centre, this is in line with the recent law.  Although not compulsory in the Museum, we would kindly ask all our visitors to help us in our efforts by keeping a mask or face covering on when walking around the museum.  If you are exempt from wearing a mask, please notify a member of staff
  • Please refrain from touching the exhibits during your visit. Museum objects cannot be cleaned with chemical sanitisers. We thank you for your help in maintaining our new routines. There is hand sanitiser available for everyone to use in the Reception area
  • We are limiting the number of visitors in the museum at any one time, so we can all comfortably keep our distance from one another. Please respect the social distancing guidelines and keep a distance of at least 1 metre from other visitors
  • Anyone visiting the Museum will be asked to complete a “Test and Trace” form. This is purely for “Test and Trace” purposes. Your information will be kept under Data Protection Policy and destroyed after 21 days. Please ask staff for more detailsand to view the Evesham Town Council Data Protection Policy

We understand that these changes may cause some inconvenience and we thank you for your support and patience in helping our staff to maintain a safe and healthy environment that will benefit us all.  We hope that as the rules change, we can change and open up more of the building to you.  If you have any questions or comments, please talk to member of staff.

Enjoy your visit!
