To Copy or Not to Copy?

Ever wondered how long copyright lasts, or how you go about protecting your own? What if a visitor asks for a copy of something from the archive? Copyright is a very modern minefield, and to help us navigate through it, The Almonry is pleased to announce that Naomi Korn, Britain’s leading copyright and rights expert, advisor to the culture and heritage sectors, will be leading a copyright workshop and course here on the 15th April.

In this she will be helping attendees develop the practical skills and knowledge they need to deal with copyright issues within their workplace.

Materials, lunch and refreshments will be provided – please advise of any dietary requirements. This is a free course, but spaces are limited to 21 and must be filled by those working in the culture/heritage sector. To book your free place, contact the office on 01386 446944 or tic@almonry.ndo.co.uk.

For more information about Naomi’s work, please visit www.naomikorn.com, and our ‘Find Us’ page for details about the Almonry, including directions, parking and satnav instructions.
