Covid Update April- May 2021

Great News! The Almonry’s Little Gift Shop and Tourist Information Centre will be OPEN from Monday 12th April 2021.

Opening times: Mondays – Saturdays 10am – 4pm.

The Museum will remain Closed for now, in line with current Government Lockdown Restrictions:

The Museum will have to stay closed for a few weeks yet. Currently we hope to re-open May 17th at the earliest, depending on the Government reviews before then. Please keep checking our website and Facebook page for all the latest updates.

Please help us to keep everyone safe by respecting Social Distancing measures, wearing a Mask or Face Covering when entering the Almonry Building, and using the hand sanitiser provided.

Opening Hours:

Summer opening hours (March to October):

Mondays to Saturdays from 10am- 4pm

Winter opening hours (November to February):

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday 10am-4pm
(Closed Wednesdays during the Winter season)

We recommend at least an hour for a visit.

Each ticket entitles the bearer to one free return visit within a 12 month period.
Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Test and Trace – it is now a legal requirement for all our visitors to record their details when visiting the Almonry. You can either scan the QR code using the NHS Test and Trace app or fill in one of our paper forms. Any forms will be retained for 21 days only before being securely destroyed. You can download the NHS Test and Trace app via Google Play or the App Store.

Masks – All customers must now wear a mask when visiting the Almonry. If you cannot wear a mask please notify a member for the team. We recognise the sunflower lanyard scheme so please wear one if you have one.

Sanitiser – There is hand sanitiser available at the entrance to the Almonry and on the front desk. We ask all our visitors to please use the sanitiser on entering and leaving the building.
