The Entrance to the Heritage Centre is through a large, wooden door that opens with a latch and is on a level with the ground outside.

All the rooms within the Heritage Centre have a step or steps in and out of them, the floors are uneven and due to the sensitive nature of the items on display, the room lighting can be a little subdued.

All the rooms have one or two chairs for visitor comfort.

We can provide large print room guides on request and there are audio buttons throughout the building but unfortunately no induction loops.

Carers are entitled to free entry and assistance dogs are welcome within the Almonry.

We welcome children of all ages! The Heritage Centre team does reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if they are behaving in a way not considerate to the building and its contents.

Should the fire alarm sound, we would ask that you vacate the building via the front lobby or back garden and gather at the meeting point at the end of the drive.
