Accessibility

The Entrance to the Almonry building is through a large, wooden door that opens with a latch and is on a level with the ground outside.

All the rooms within the Almonry building have a step or steps in and out of them and  the floors are uneven throughout. Due to the sensitive nature of the items on display, the room lighting can be a little subdued.

We do not currently have audio/ induction loop facilities in the Museum.

Carers are entitled to free entry and assistance dogs are welcome at the Almonry.

We welcome children of all ages! The Almonry team does reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if they are behaving in a way not considerate to the building, its contents, or other visitors and staff.

Should the fire alarm sound, we would ask that you vacate the building via the front lobby or back garden and gather at the meeting point at the end of the drive.
