The Almonry Museum Will be OPEN again from 17th May 2021!

Museum, Gift Shop & Tourist Info Centre Opening Hours: Mondays to Saturdays, from 10am to 4.30pm

We are thrilled to be able to re-open the Almonry Museum as of Monday, 17th May. Check out our Website and Facebook page for all the latest info about upcoming Events at the Almonry:  https://www.facebook.com/almonryevesham

We have made some changes to the way we work in line with national Government advice & guidelines.… These are in place to ensure that you still have a great visit and stay safe while at the Almonry Museum:

  • Masks or Face Coverings must be worn when inside the Almonry building- in the Shop, TIC & Museum: Please help us to reduce the spread of germs and keep all our visitors and staff safe. There is hand sanitiser available around the Museum and in the Reception areas.
  • One Way system around the Museum: We have had to close certain areas of the museum as we cannot ensure social distancing throughout this ancient building. Please follow the signs around the Museum during your visit- these lead you around the one-way system.  We are offering 10% off our regular entry ticket price during this time (current prices advertised on our website include this discount.)
  • Avoid touching the exhibits during your visit: Museum objects cannot be cleaned with chemical sanitisers. We thank you for your help in maintaining our new routines. There is hand sanitiser available for everyone to use in the Reception area
  • We must limit the number of people in the museum at any one time to 30. As advised in the National Government Guidelines: “Outdoor gatherings will be limited to 30 people and indoor gatherings will be limited to 6 people or 2 households (each household can include a support bubble, if eligible)”. Please respect the social distancing guidelines and keep a distance from other people inside the building.
  • Anyone visiting the Museum will be asked to complete a “Test and Trace” form or scan the barcode at Reception: This is purely for “Test and Trace” purposes. Your information will be kept under Data Protection Policy and destroyed after 21 days. Please ask staff for more details and to view the Evesham Town Council Data Protection Policy.

We understand that these changes may cause some inconvenience and we thank you for your support & patience in helping our staff to create a safe and healthy environment that will benefit us all. If you have any questions or comments please talk to a member of staff.

Enjoy your visit!
