Covid Update July – August 2021

We are thrilled to announce that from Monday 19th July 2021, we have been able to fully re-open the Almonry Museum, Tourist Info. Centre and Gift Shop!

This means that from Monday 19th July, areas of the Museum that have been closed off to the public due to social distancing regulations have now re-opened for visitors to access. There is no longer a one-way system in place around the building, and we have no limitations on visitor numbers in the Museum or Gift Shop at any one time. For all the the latest information about what to expect when visiting us this Summer, please see our Visit Us Page:

OPENING HOURS: Mondays to Saturdays, from 10am to 5pm

We would like to reassure all our visitors that we are  remaining cautious at the Almonry. As the Town’s Tourist Information Centre, Museum, and Gift Shop, we regularly see local people, school groups and families, as well as a lot of visitors, coach parties and holidaymakers from all over the country and abroad. Our staff are dedicated to maintaining high standards in cleanliness and limiting the spread of germs as much as possible to create a safe and pleasant environment for everyone.

We’re feeling optimistic that things are returning to normal, and we thank you all for your ongoing understanding and support during this time.

Check out our Almonry Events Page and Our Facebook Page for all the latest information about Events at the Almonry coming up this year!

We wish all our visitors a pleasant visit at the Almonry!
